Year-End Celebration
At the end of every traditional academic year, Innolearn Virtual College arranges a special ceremony for students from 8th to 12th grades. This ceremony includes virtual and in-person graduation ceremonies for seniors, as well as team-building activities, field trips, a prom, and an alumni brunch for students in grades 8 to 11.
These important events take place over a three-day period called the Annual Year-End Celebrations, providing customized experiences for our students and their families. It's common for students to travel from different regions of the country and even from overseas to join in these celebrations.
As for Innolearn Virtual Academy, could you please provide more details or specify your request?
Virtual Field Trips
In addition, we provide virtual field trips tailored for students in grades K-8 and 9-12. These virtual tours offer students the chance to explore destinations across the globe from the comfort of their homes. Through these digital experiences, students immerse themselves in diverse cultures and historical landmarks, creating a blend of social interaction and educational enrichment.
Counseling Webinars
Throughout the academic year, our Counseling Department conducts a blend of live and pre-recorded webinars designed for students in grades K-8 and 9-12. These webinars cover a comprehensive range of topics aligning with academic, personal, social, college, and career development realms.
For K-8 students, webinar topics include coping skills, goal setting, career exploration, and transitioning to high school. In the 9-12 space, webinars are integrated with our grade-level seminar curriculum and delve into various subjects such as time management, stress management, academic planning, resume writing and interviewing skills, financial aid and scholarships, navigating college admissions testing, and a dedicated college application workshop series tailored for seniors aspiring for college admission.
Furthermore, high school students have the valuable opportunity to participate in virtual college visits facilitated by admissions representatives from over 60 colleges and universities worldwide. These sessions provide insights into different institutions and aid students in making informed decisions about their higher education journey.
Class Assemblies
Class Connection Assemblies are conducted virtually three times a year, in September, February, and May. Students are grouped by grade levels: K-5, 6-8, and each high school grade individually, based on their graduation year.
A collaborative effort between LSS Student Engagement and the Counseling Department, the primary objectives of these assemblies are:
- Delivering relevant information tailored to each grade level
- Fostering collaboration, engagement, and a sense of belonging among students within the high school graduation classes and similar grade levels
- Providing an opportunity for Student Ambassadors to lead and interact with LSS students
- Establishing grade-level Time Capsules for each graduating class, to be unveiled and shared five years after graduation.
